PNW Cherry Margarita

Here's a margarita made with gorgeous Rainier cherries. I always add a little beer to my blended margaritas - it gives them a great buoyancy. Just a little though, otherwise your blender will barf all over you.


PNW Cherry Margarita


Approximately 3/4 cup Rainier cherries

1.5 oz tequila (I like Hornitos Anejo for this recipe)

1.5 oz Rainier cherry simple syrup

.75 oz fresh lime juice

.75 oz Cointreau

Couple splashes of beer, I tend to use Tecate



Make the simple syrup ahead of time. Recipe is approximate; you'll want to adjust for preferred sweetness. Blend, drink, repeat.
